How Long Does Premium Access Last and How Many Attempts Do I Get?
Premium access to a networking certification exam lasts 60 days — two months — from activation, and there is no limit on how many attempts you sit inside that period.
The period is the same length for every exam on the site, the attempts are genuinely uncapped, and one payment covers all of them.
Premium Access Duration, Attempts and Sitting Rules
- Duration: 60 days, or two months, counted from activation
- Attempts: unlimited, in any mix of full-length and mini sessions you like
- Payment: one-time. No subscription, no auto-renewal, no recurring billing
- Sessions: one active session at a time, and an account is not something to share
- Interruptions: a session you leave is held where you stopped for a few days, so a short interruption does not cost you the attempt — but the clock returns to its full length when you resume, which is why a sitting meant to test your pacing has to be an unbroken one
- Arrangement: every attempt draws the items and their answer choices in a new order
Why Premium Attempts Are Not Capped
Because a cap would ration the part that works. The value of a timed session is rarely in the first one; it is in the later ones, when a class of item you previously had to reason through has become something you simply read. Take an interface that is up at both ends and still losing traffic. The first time, you work it out from scratch: a duplex mismatch on a copper run, an optic that is marginal rather than dead, or a maximum transmission unit that disagrees somewhere along the path. Several sittings later you are looking straight at the error counters, and the answer arrives with the evidence rather than after it. Metering attempts would meter exactly that repetition, which is why the access period does not.
What Happens to Your Premium Attempt Record
Attempt history is retained for 65 days and is then removed automatically. That is a retention rule rather than something you administer, and it is covered in full on its own page. What matters while your access is live is that completed sittings are recorded, so a run of them exists rather than a single figure standing on its own, and each recorded attempt can be opened again with its item-by-item review attached.
A 60-day period, unlimited attempts and one payment: the only thing the access period asks you to plan is when to start it.
