How Do I Access the Demo Practice Exam?
Sign in to a free NWExam account, open the page for the specific networking certification exam you are preparing for, start the demo if that exam carries one, and sit it in the browser you already have open.
There is nothing to install and nothing to download. The sitting runs in a browser on a desktop, laptop, tablet or phone, and the only thing standing between you and it is the account, which the demo and Premium both require.
Four Steps to a Demo Sitting

Registration is free, and it asks for slightly more than an address: a username and email, a password, the certification you are preparing for, and your agreement to the terms of use. It is required because the sitting is scored, and a score has to attach to an account rather than to a browser tab. The same account carries Premium access later if you buy it, so nothing has to be moved across.

Open the Page for Your Exam
The demo belongs to an exam, not to the site, and most certifications here carry one of their own. Find the vendor and then the specific certification you are booked for or considering, rather than starting from a general list, because what the sitting asks about follows that exam’s published objectives. Some exams are sold without a demo attached; where that is the case, the exam page simply will not offer one.

Start the Demo
Before the timer starts, the exam page sets out the criteria for the sitting: the item count, the pass rate it will be marked against and the time limit, plus confirmation that the exam is always available and that you may navigate backwards through the items. Read that panel first. The ratio between the item count and the time limit is the pacing you are about to be measured against, and it is the one line worth carrying into the opening item. On a Premium exam the same panel adds the attempts allowance; on a demo that row is not shown.

Sit It in One Go
A demo attempt cannot be paused and resumed. Close it half-way and nothing has been saved for later; the next attempt starts from the beginning as a new session. Premium sessions behave differently — an unfinished one waits for you at the item you had reached — but you come back to a fresh clock rather than to the time you had left, which is why an interrupted sitting stops being a rehearsal of pacing. Either way, give the sitting the uninterrupted stretch the criteria asked for.
Choose the Exam Before You Choose the Demo
Networking and infrastructure is one label stretched over several very different examinations. A data-centre or storage track that expects you to reason about fabric zoning, multi-pathing and how a target is presented to a host shares a vocabulary with an enterprise routing track and very little else, item for item. Taking the demo attached to the wrong exam will tell you what the platform feels like and nothing useful about the paper you are booked for. If you are still choosing between two certifications, that is an argument for sitting both demos rather than neither.
What You Need on the Day You Try It
- A browser on whatever device is nearest — desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. There is no application to install, on any platform
- A stretch of time matching the limit shown before you start, since a demo attempt keeps nothing if you stop half-way
- Nothing else. No documentation open in another tab, no lab to console into — the demo asks what the exam asks, which is what you can do with what you already carry
