Can I Use NWExam on Mobile or Tablet?
Yes. Every session runs inside a web browser, so a desktop, a laptop, a tablet and a phone all work, and none of them needs anything installed first. Whether a phone is the right device for a full-length networking certification exam session is a separate question, and one worth answering separately.
Nothing about the platform is device-specific. The same account, the same exams, the same criteria panel and the same review are waiting whichever one you sign in from. What changes with the device is not what you are given but how much of it you can take in at once, and on a timed session that turns out to matter.
What You Need to Sit a Session on Any Device
- A browser. Nothing to download, nothing to keep updated, and no separate mobile application to go looking for
- An account, signed in. The demo requires one exactly as Premium does
- One device at a time. A single session per account is active, so signing in somewhere else ends the one you had open
- An uninterrupted stretch matching the time limit shown to you before the session starts
Why the Device Changes What You Are Rehearsing
Reading is the part that moves. Take an item built on a routing table where the two lines that decide the answer sit a long way apart in the same output. On a wide screen you compare them. On a narrow one you hold the first in your head while you go looking for the second, which is a harder task and is not the task the examination sets, since the examination is sat at a desk on a screen somebody else chose. A session on a phone is still practice on the material. It is not practice on the reading.
Where a Tablet or Phone Genuinely Earns Its Place
Going back over an attempt you have already finished. The review of a completed sitting is reading rather than sitting: no clock runs on it, there is nothing to commit to, and nothing punishes taking it in a few lines at a time. Working back through the items you got wrong while you are on a train is a real use of the time, and it survives a small screen intact. What works badly is starting a session on a laptop and finishing it on a tablet. A Premium session will let you resume, but it restarts the clock and only one session stays active, so what you end up with is two comfortable halves rather than one sitting.
Any browser will run it. Use the largest screen you have for the sessions that are meant to be difficult, and keep the small one for reading back over an attempt that is already finished.
