I recently passed the CCNA exam and I’d like to share a bit of my experience. The journey wasn’t easy — it took months of study, lab practice, and lots of reviewing network concepts. At first, I felt a little lost with the amount of content, but as I built a consistent study routine, everything started to make more sense.
What helped me the most was setting up my own lab in a simulator, practicing router and switch configurations, and constantly reviewing the fundamentals: IP addressing, VLANs, static and dynamic routing, ACLs, and of course, the most frequently tested protocols. I also took many practice exams, which were essential for training my timing and identifying weak points.
On exam day, I was definitely nervous, but I trusted my preparation. When I finally saw the screen confirming my passing score, the feeling was indescribable — a mix of relief and accomplishment. Today, I see the CCNA not just as a certificate, but as proof of my dedication and an important step forward in my networking career.
